WARRANTY & LIABILITY POLICY
1. Scope & General Terms
This Policy applies to all machinery, genuine spare parts, lab equipment, consumables, and technical services (including calibration, repair, and automation) supplied by F2G Technologies Ltd. (“F2G”).
Warranties extend solely to the original commercial purchaser (“Client”) identified in the official invoice, Purchase Order, or contract and are non-transferable.
Payment Condition: All warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon full settlement of invoice balances as per agreed LC, TT, or cash terms. Any overdue or unpaid balances will immediately suspend all warranty support and services.
2. Category-Specific Warranty Coverage
Capital Machinery & Equipment: Warranted against manufacturing defects for the specific duration stipulated in the official Proforma Invoice (PI) or Sales Agreement (typically 6 to 12 months from delivery or commissioning).
Consumables & Wear-and-Tear Items: Subject to the strict zero-warranty policy outlined in Section 3.
Repair & Automation Services: Technical repairs, PLC/HMI programming, motor drive conversions, and panel retrofits carry a 30-day workmanship warranty starting from job completion. Coverage applies strictly to the specific components, circuits, or systems directly serviced or replaced by F2G engineers.
Calibration Services: Certified to reflect precise operational accuracy at the exact time and place of calibration under standard reference conditions. Calibration warranties do not cover measurement drift, sensor shift, or recalibration needs resulting from equipment relocation, improper storage, rough handling, or environmental changes post-delivery.
3. Consumables & Wear-and-Tear Items (Strict Zero-Warranty Policy)
No Warranty Post-Delivery/Installation: Parts subject to operational friction, heat, chemical exposure, electrical load, or mechanical wear carry NO WARRANTY once delivered, installed, or operated. Physical condition must be verified immediately upon receipt, and any transit damage must be noted directly on the official delivery chalan.
Explicitly Named Items: Consumables include, but are not limited to: cutting knives, blades, sharpening stones, abrasive belts, drive/timing belts, bearings, needles, seals, gaskets, O-rings, fuses, carbon brushes, laser tubes, optical lenses, and sensors.
Catch-All Provision: Any unlisted component or hardware item that is subject to natural degradation, friction, heat, or wear during standard machinery operation shall automatically be classified as a consumable/wear-and-tear item and shall carry no warranty once delivered or installed.
4. Absolute Disqualifications & Warranty Exclusions
The warranty shall immediately become null, void, and completely unenforceable under any of the following conditions:
Unauthorized Intervention: Any attempt to disassemble, repair, re-wire, re-program (PLC/HMI parameters), or modify equipment by third-party or non-F2G certified technicians without prior written consent from F2G.
Utility & Environmental Failures: Failures or burnouts caused by improper voltage, power surges, phase failure, inadequate electrical grounding, dirty/wet compressed air, water contamination, or unmonitored factory heat and humidity.
Improper Operation & Maintenance: Failure to operate equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, or lack of documented routine maintenance and lubrication.
Use of Non-Genuine / Third-Party Parts: Mixing F2G-supplied genuine parts or machinery with counterfeit or non-authorized third-party components.
Transit & External Hazards: Physical damage occurring during transit after client handover, accidents, fire, flood, chemical spills, or force majeure events.
5. Logistics, Travel, & Labor Costs
Unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing, warranty coverage applies strictly to the replacement or repair of the defective part/component.
Transport charges, international/local freight, import duties, shipping insurance, and F2G engineer travel/lodging allowances (TA/DA) for factory visits outside Dhaka are the sole financial responsibility of the Client.
6. Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a valid warranty claim for covered equipment or services, the Client must:
Provide written notice to F2G within 48 hours of observing the defect and within the active warranty window.
Submit original purchase invoices, machine serial numbers, operational logs, and clear photo/video evidence showing the issue.
Allow F2G technical staff access for on-site inspection, or return the defective part to F2G’s Dhaka facility for technical evaluation. F2G retains sole authority to determine whether a fault stems from a manufacturing defect or operational misuse.
7. Limitation of Liability & Consequential Damages
Exclusive Remedy: F2G’s sole obligation under any validated claim shall be limited, at F2G’s discretion, to:
Repairing the defective component;
Replacing the defective component; or
Re-performing the defective service.
Exclusion of Consequential Loss: Under no legal theory shall F2G Technologies Ltd. be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to: factory downtime, production delays, lost profits, air freight costs, ruined fabrics or garments, and buyer cancellation penalties.
Financial Cap: F2G’s total aggregate financial liability shall under no circumstances exceed the net amount actually paid by the Client for the specific item or service in question.
